Potato Porridge with Fresh Cat Fish
Ingredients
- Medium size fresh cat fish.
- 4 irish potato cut into desired pieces
- 1 medium size chopped onion
- 2 medium size chopped tomato
- 1 tbsps fresh ginger paste
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 medium size red fresh pepper, chopped
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cooking spoon of grapeseed oil
- Salt and seasoning to taste
Preparation
- Wash the fish properly and cut into sizes.
- Marinate fish pieces with seasoning and salt for half an hour.
- Heat grapeseed oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces on both sides until light brown and keep aside.
- After that fry irish potatoes with salt and keep aside.
- Add chopped onion and bay leaves in remaining oil and fry till deep golden brown.
- Add tomato and cook for few minutes.
- Add fresh ginger paste, black pepper powder, red fresh pepper.
- Stir well and add fried potato.
- Mix and add water. Cover the pan and cook on medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Add fried fish. cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
- Serve hot, you can also serve with plain rice.
